My first post, about bicycles giving ethnographers a different perspective on urban space, is up now. I'm planning to write about promoting bicycling through positive and negative interventions in streets (like ciclovías versus a disaster), the development of a bike cultures research network in the U.S., and bike ethnography as a playful experiment.
